This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless scarcely encountered - WH (Heeres), early- (ie. pre-war-) period, 'M36'-pattern- (ie. pointed-styled-) 'cyphered' and/or non-piped shoulderstrap, as was intended for usage by an: 'Unterwachtmeister des Artillerie-Regiments 63' (or: junior-sergeant who served within the artillery-regiment ie. unit numbered: '63') and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The strap - which approximately measures 11,6 cms. in length - has the 'standard'-pattern- and/or darker-green-coloured, smooth-woolen-based 'upper-deck' and has (of course) no piping (as per regulation). The shoulderstrap shows the neat (machine-embroidered by means of so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei'-) '6' and '3' numerals (see pictures). Both 'cyphers' are executed in the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured wool ie. linnen as to be expected (see pictures). The strap - which comes mounted on its functional tongue and that shows the standard-pattern, silver-coloured NCO-braid - shows as stated moderate usage and/or wear (some minor staining and/or dust is however visible and/or present). It should be noted that all 'cyphered' so-called: 'Artillerie'-related shoulderstraps are very desirable and can easily be regarded 'scarce', even more so when they come in such a nicely preserved condition. In any case an attractive, early- ie. pre-war-period, 'cyphered Heeres' shoulderstrap which is IMO priced according to its obvious desirability and/or scarcity!
