This is an attractive - and/or fully matching and not that easily found! - pair of WH (Heeres), early- (ie. pre-) war-period, 'M36'-pattern (pointed-styled-), 'cyphered'- ie. generic-styled-, NCO-type shoulderstraps (being a pair having no branchcolour as per regulation) as was intended for - and used by! - a: 'Feldwebel eines Wehrersatz-Dienstelle im Wehrkreis X' (or: sergeant who served within an infantry-related, army-recruitment unit that resided under the region ie. 'Wehrkreis' numbered: 'X') and that comes in overall nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. worn- and/or: tunic-removed-), condition. The neat straps - which are both approximately 10,3 cms. sized in length - have the 'standard-pattern' and/or: dark-green-coloured- and woolen-based 'upperdecks' and have as stated above no piping nor branchcolour attached: they are of the 'generic pattern' and could actually be worn by a sergeant who served within various different branches or: 'Waffengattungen' (as can be seen on the pictures). The shoulderstraps show the (standard- ie. early-pattern-) silver-coloured NCO-braid attached and have each a pair of (larger-sized- and/or IMO 'Buntmetall'-based-), Latin-styled: 'W'-cyphers, a pair of Roman-styled (and equally-based-) 'X'-numerals and two pips period-attached, denoting that the pair was intended for an NCO with the rank of: 'Feldwebel' (ie. sergeant). All six devices were IMO period-attached and do show some regular age and/or minimal tarnish. Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that the NCO started IMO as an: 'Unteroffizier' and was later promoted to the 'Feldwebel'-rank: something that can be corroborated by the presence of the (later) added horizontal 'stripe' of NCO-braid (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'Wehrkreis' numbered: 'X' comprised of the regions Schleswig-Holstein, Hannover-Nord, Bremen and Hamburg and had its HQ based in the town of Hamburg. The pair comes mounted on its original tongues and does show some age-, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a moderately used and/or worn - and IMO quite early- (ie. pre-war-) period, 'Heeres' NCO-type, shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to a: 'Feldwebel eines Wehrersatz-Dienstelle im Wehrkreis X': I deem that I have priced this attractive pair accordingly!
