Superb - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres), mid-war-period- (ie. 'M43'-pattern-) NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the white-coloured branchcolour as was intended for a: 'Stabsfeldwebel o. Spiess eines Infanterie-Regiments'
This is a truly very attractive - and/or fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres), mid-war-period- (ie. 'M43'-pattern-) NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for - and clearly worn by! - a: 'Stabsfeldwebel o. Spiess eines Infanterie-Regiments' (or: senior-NCO ie. company-sergeant who served within an infantry-regiment or unit) and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. moderately used- ie. worn- and/or most certainly tunic-removed-), condition. The straps - which are both approximately 11,4 cms. sized in length - have the 'standard-pattern' and/or: field-grey-coloured, woolen-based 'upperdecks' and have as stated above the desirable 'silk-like'-type- and/or white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour ie. piping attached (see pictures). The shoulderstraps show the ('standard'-issue-pattern) bluish-grey-coloured (ie. 'sub-dued') NCO-braid attached and have each three (smaller-sized- and/or aluminium-based) pips period-attached, denoting that the pair was intended for an NCO with the unusually encountered rank of: 'Stabsfeldwebel' (ie. 'Spiess'). All six devices were with certainty period-attached (in a somewhat sloppy manner!) and do show some regular age and/or tarnish. The pair comes mounted onto its original tongues and does show some moderate age-, wear and/or staining: moreover, does the piping show some age ie. wear (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive mid-war-period, 'Heeres' NCO-type 'Infanterie'-related shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to a: 'Stabsfeldwebel o. Spiess eines Infanterie-Regiments': I deem that I have priced this attractive M43 pair accordingly!
