Superb - and fully matching! - pair of very early-period (ie. 'Reichswehr'-era), WH (Heeres) 'cyphered' NCO-type shoulderstraps as executed in neat 'rib-cord'-like linnen as was intended for an: 'Unteroffizier des Infanterie-Regiments 15'
This is truly attractive - and/or fully matching! - pair of I deem very early-period (ie. 'Reichswehr'-era), WH (Heeres) 'cyphered' NCO-type shoulderstraps having the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured and/or: typical 'woolen'-type piping attached (as executed in neat field-grey-coloured- and/or: 'rib-cord'-like linnen) as was intended for - and with certainty used by! - an: 'Unteroffizier des Infantie-Regiments 15' (or: junior-sergeant who served within the infantry-regiment numbered: '15') and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The straps - which measure 11,8 cms. in length each - are fully 'text-book' in all facets and are executed in ('Reichwehr'-era type) HBT-like (ie. 'rib-cord'-like-) linnen having the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured and/or 'woolen'-type piping, attached. Both straps are totally undamaged but do show some honest - albeit moderate - wear and/or age: some minimal staing and/or wear is noticable. Both shoulderstraps show the neat (machine-embroidered by means of so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei') '15'- numerals. Both 'cyphers' are executed in the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured wool ie. linnen as to be expected. The straps come mounted onto their functional tongues and have the early-type (ie. 'dotted-styled'), silver-coloured Heeres NCO-braid attached (something that is more often encountered with these early-type straps). Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that this pair came with a neat (copper-based- and silver-coloured-) lapel-pin depicting a pointed shoulderstrap having the '15'-numerals. Simply an attractive - and with certainty scarcely encountered! - 'cyphered' shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to an: 'Unteroffizier des Infantie-Regiments 15'!
