The very detailed - and truly rarely seen! - piece is executed in bright-golden-coloured- and zinc-based metal (ie. 'Feinzink') and retains both its (copper-based-) prongs (which were IMO once bent but which are naturally still functional). The detail on the somewhat 'frosted' piece is simply extraordinary: it just shows some minimal dust ie. tarnish simply caused by moderate wear and/or years of storage only. It should be noted that these 'Polizei'-related-, 'Wasserschützpolizei' (or even general-officers'-pattern!-) cap-devices can easily be graded 'very rare'. Hard to find a more nicely preserved example for a more interesting price!
