Neat example of a Dutch-produced- (and/or WWII-period-) so-called: 'Philips - Type 7424', hand-operated flash-light (aka: 'Knijpkat')

This is a nicely preserved example of a Dutch- produced- (and/or WWII-period-produced!) field-grey-coloured- and/or hand-operated flash-light (aka in Dutch language as: 'Knijpkat') that is neatly marked on the bottom with the engraved- (ie. stamped-) text: 'Philips - Type 7424 - Made in Holland', that comes in an overall very nice (and IMO only moderately used- and/or: still fully functional-), condition. These neat flash-lights - as were produced by the famous 'Philips'-company - were a much favoured item by both soldiers and/or civilians and saw wide-spread usage throughout WWII. They did not need any batteries but were operated by pushing a small generator by hand. The flashlight retains almost all of its original (field-grey-coloured- and shiny-type-) paint and is still fully functional (after 70 years!): the piece holds its original light-bulb and has an undamaged (plastic- ie. resin-based-) lense: it just shows some minimal rust-staining (on one side only - see pictures). The piece is as mentioned nicely engraved- (ie. stamped-) on the bottom with the a clear makers'-mark but is NOT marked: 'Wehrmachteigentum' (see pictures). Simply a nice equipment-item that will be hard to be upgraded and that is IMO accordingly priced!
