This is an attractive - and fully matching and actually never before seen! - pair of (IMO mid-war period-), WH (Heeres) 'M43'-type, EM/NCO-pattern collar-patches (ie. 'Einheitskragenspiegel') as was (originally) piped in the greyish- coloured branchcolour (having greyish centres) but that shows (period-added!) bright-red-coloured cord, as was (presumably) intended for usage by a: 'Soldat der Artillerie- o. Ost-Truppen' (or soldier ie. NCO who served within an army-artillery unit ie. Eastern volunteers regiment) and that comes in an overall nice (albeit clearly used- and worn- and carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The tabs have the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured- and 'cord-like' piping attached, signifying that they were intended for a soldier (ie. NCO) who served within an artillery unit (ie. 'Artillerie-Abteilung'). The tabs (which are a bit dirty ie. stained) are nicely 'pre-mounted'- (ie. machine-stitched) on a dark-green-coloured- and/or 'smooth'-woolen-based background as more often seen (see pictures). The pair shows the neat 'buckram'-based backing as is more often encountered (and does show the stitching-remains of having been once tunic-attached). This very unusual collar-tab-pair might IMO also be specifically intended for usage by an: 'Ost-Truppen'- ie. 'Kosakken'-unit. In any case is this a great occasion to acquire a very unusual collar-tab-set that is truly unusually piped: I deem that I have priced this neat pair accordingly!
