Attractive, so-called: N.S.K.K. (ie. 'National Socialistisches Kraftfahr Korps') side-cap-eagle (ie. 'Adler für Schiffchen'), being a 'flat-wire-woven'-example that comes on a cornflower-blue-coloured background
This is an attractive example of a so-called: N.S.K.K. (ie. 'National Socialistisches Kraftfahr Korps') side-cap-eagle (ie. 'Adler für Schiffchen' as was specifically intended to be worn on the black-coloured 'N.S.K.K.-Schiffchen o. Lagermütze') being a 'flat-wire-woven' example that comes on a cornflower-blue- (ie. 'Kornblumenblauer'-) coloured background and that comes in a very nice (ie. never used- ie. virtually mint-/unissued-), condition. The cap-eagle - which is neatly woven in the so-called: 'BeVo'-type-, 'flat-wire' weave-technique - has the cornflower-blue- (ie. 'Kornblumenblauer'-) branch-colour and was as such intended for the N.S.K.K.-troops that belonged to the: 'N.S.K.K. Motorgruppe Wartheland' (as can be seen on the pictures). Of additional interest is, moreover, that the cornflower-blue- (ie. 'Kornblumenblauer'-) branchcolour was also used by the French N.S.K.K.-volunteers! The trapezoid-shaped piece was never used nor cap-attached but does show some minimal fraying on the edges of the (black-coloured) 'backing' (simply caused by decades of storage only). Simply an attractive example that will be very hard to be upgraded!
