Attractive - and fully matching! - 4-pieced insignia-set comprising of a pair of WH (Luftwaffe) 'dual-piped', officers'-type shoulderboards and dito collar-tabs as was intended for usage by a: 'Leutnant der Res. eines Flieger- o. Fallschirm-Rgts.'

This is an attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - four-pieced insignia-set comprising of a (fully matching!) pair of WH (Luftwaffe) 'dual-piped', officers'-type shoulderboards and dito collar-tabs, as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Leutnant der Reserve eines Flieger- o. Fallschirm-Regiments' (or: reserve lieutnant who served within a pilot- or paratroopers-regiment) and that comes in a clearly used- (ie. worn- and/or once tunic-attached- and regrettably partly moth-damaged-), condition. All four insignia-pieces are piped in the golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured branchcolour and have a secondary, bright-blue- (ie. 'blauer'-) coloured branchcolour attached: as such, the set was intended for usage by a: 'Leutnant der Reserve eines Flieger- o. Fallschirm-Regiments'. The neat shoulderboards - which are constructed from the golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured and/or 'smooth-type' (ie. moleskin-like-) wool - come in an excellent condition overall and will be hard to be upgraded (the pair is fully matching and never had any tongues: it was worn as a pair of the 'sew-in'-type (as can be seen on the pictures). The fairly 'shiny' appearance of the 'upperdecks' is fully present and/or preserved (something that is to be expected with a Luftwaffe-related pair). The boards are just a tiny bit 'tarnished' by normal age and/or storage for decades (as can be seen on the pictures). The boards - which measure approximately 10,3 cms. in length each - never had any pips attached, denoting the officers-rank of: 'Leutnant'. The neatly hand-embroidered collar-tabs (which are also fully matching) have the 'buckram'-based 'backings' and have also been carefully tunic-removed: they were once tunic-attached by means of metal 'snaps' which are still attached to the tabs (as can be noticed from the pictures). One the tabs regrettably shows some moth-damage. It should, however, be noted that these attractive, dual-piped officers'-type insignia-sets as intended for a: 'Offiziere der Reserve eines Flieger- o. Fallschirmregiments' can easily be graded: 'scarce' and are truly not that often offered for sale!
