The truly attractive - and with certainty rarely encountered! - linnen-based, so-called: 'Auszeichnung für Schiessleistungen des Deutscher Schützenverbandes Gau Westfalen' (ie. DSV), being an example as was executed in so-called: 'BeVo'-weave-pattern, that comes in a very nice (ie. unconfectioned-), condition. The patch (which measures 6,8 x 6 cms.) was IMO once worn and/or issued (I deem that it was once even tunic-attached). It only shows some minimal aging caused by regular usage and/or wear (but it is totally undamaged). The neat piece - that shows the 'DSV'-symbol surrounded by text and showing two swastikas - is executed in silverish-white-coloured linnen on a black-coloured- (and linnen-based-) background. Regrettably, could I not find any in-deth reference-material regarding this (with certainty) rarely encountered 'DSV'-shooting-award: I deem that it is accordingly priced!
