Attractive - and/or fully matching! - pair of WH (Luftwaffe) 'cyphered', enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstraps as was intended for - and with certainty worn by! - a: 'Soldat der Flieger o. Fallschirmtruppen u. Mitglied einer Kriegsschule'
The attractive - and fairly scarcely encountered and I deem pre- ie. early-war period - WH (Luftwaffe) shoulderstrap-pair is piped in the golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured branchcolour and shows the woolen-type piping as more often seen. The straps - which measure approximately 12 cms. in length each - were clearly used ie. worn and originated from a private-household in Germany (they were clearly 'cut-off' a tunic as can be seen on the pictures). Both straps came without tongues (they were with certainty worn as a pair of the 'sew-in'-type) and show the Gothic-styled (and/or golden-yellow-coloured) 'KS'-cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern') which are executed in the neat 'Kurbelstickerei' denoting that the soldier who wore these straps was a: 'Soldat der Flieger o. Fallschirmtruppen u. Mitglied einer Kriegsschule' (or: soldier and member within one of the Luftwaffe war-schools). The pair was - as stated above - clearly worn and/or used and does show some obvious age, wear and/or staining as can be seen on the pictures). It should be noted that all LW-type, 'cyphered' shoulderstrap-pairs can easily be graded 'scarce' and are not that often offered for sale. Simply an attractive- and/of fully matching EM-type pair that can easily be used to complete a LW 'Viertaschenrock' or shoulderstrap-collection!
