Attractive example of a WH (KM ie. 'Küstenartillerie') rank-chevron (ie. 'Gefreitenwinkel') as was intended for an: 'Obergefreiter', as was intended for usage on the various field-grey-coloured-, naval: 'Küstenartillerie'-tunics
I recently uncovered eight - fully identical- and or: unissued! - examples of the WH (Kriegsmarine ie. 'Küstenartillerie') rank-chevron (ie. 'Gefreitenwinkel') as was intended for an: 'Obergefreiter' (being executed in the 'Alter Art'- ie. old-style-pattern) as was intended for usage on the various field-grey-coloured-, naval: 'Küstenartillerie'-tunics, all eight pieces in overall very nice- (ie. virtually mint-/unissued- and/or never tunic-attached-) condition. The examples are executed on typical 'Heeres'-type field-grey-coloured wool and show a single stripe of the typical golden-toned 'Küstenartillerie'-style NCO-braid with above that a single pip: all 8 pieces are IMO executed in detailed hand-embroidery and are executed in so-called: 'Celluon'-type braid as is more often seen (see pictures). The badges are, moreover, nicely 'backed' with greyish-coloured linnen and were truly never used nor tunic-attached. It should be noted that these neat naval rank-chevrons are with certainty not that easily encountered if needed. The price is natuarlly intended for one single 'Gefreitenwinkel'. Simply a nice occasion to acquire a scarcely encountered naval rank-piece!
