The neat badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') depicting a detailed: 'DAF' and/or: 'Italian Facses'-symbol is executed in aluminium-based- and/or greyish-silver-coloured metal: it only shows moderate wear and/or age but nevertheless retains most (ie. all-) of it silver-greyish toned finish without showing any defaults. The badge - which measures approximately 50 mm. in height - comes mounted onto its functional pin- but regrettably misses a tiny-piece of its catch (so it will not properly close completely). The very attractive and/or pronounced piece has I deem never been cleaned nor polished: it shows some minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The high-quality 'tinnie' - which shows a designation on its back that reads: 'Abkommen Dr. Ley - Cianetti' as to be expected, is quite detailed and was issued at a very limited scale to the (small) group of participants that participated in the meeting between the leader of the German Labour Front (ie. 'DAF' or: 'Deutsche Arbeitsfront') Dr. Robert Ley and the Italian Head of the: 'Fascist Confederation of Industrial Workers'-Syndicates and Vice-President of the Institute of Social Assurance' (being more or less the Italian DAF-counterpart), named: Tullio Cianetti, held in June 1937. I am convinced that not many of these badges have survived. Simply a rarely encountered, commemorative 'DAF/Italian'-related 'tinnie': I have seen this very rare: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen' sell for much more than my asking-price!
