The badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in golden-toned- and/or copper-based metal: it shows some normal wear and/or moderate age. The badge - which is exexuted in the form of a swastika (upon which a silver-coloured map of the 'Saarland'-region is affixed - see pictures) comes mounted on its functional pin and has IMO never been cleaned nor polished: it shows some minimal staining (as can be seen on the pictures) but is still very detailed and/or pronounced. The 'tinnie' retains most of its (somewhat darkened- ie. tarnished-) golden-coloured finish and was issued in order to commemorate the annexation of the Saarland-region from France (which took place on the 1 st March of 1935).
