Interesting, French (locally produced-) period publication (or: 'Reiseführer') entitled: 'Kleiner Wegweiser für die Soldaten der Deutschen Südwestarmee und der Atlantikküste', dated: '1940' - nice (albeit used-) condition!

This is a very interesting - and only once before by me encountered! - French (most certainly locally produced-) period publication (or: 'Reiseführer') entitled: 'Kleiner Wegweiser für die Soldaten der Deutschen Südwestarmee und der Atlantikküste', dated: '1940', in overall very nice, albeit issued ie. used condition. The soft-cover book(-let) is sized: 15,5 x 12,5 cms. and holds many (scenic-) pictures (and 36 pages of descriptive text in German) making the German soldiers aware of the French coastal scenery. The booklet - which was locally printed in Bordeaux in 1940 - helds an approval (and introduction) of the 'Armee-Oberkommando Bordeaux'. The booklet also helds a (fairly detailed) map of the French coastal area (the map is folded and/or glued-in on the last page). A nice and only once before encountered publication: almost certainly merely published as a handy souvenir-item as intended for the German occupying troops!
