Nice example of a lapel-pin (or so-called: 'Traditions-/Erinnerungsabzeichen') as used by members within the: '291. Infanterie-Division, being a non- maker-marked example - overall nice (albeit clearly used and/or worn-) condition!
This is a nice example of a lapel-pin (or so-called: 'Traditions-/Erinnerungsabzeichen') as used by members within the: '291. Infanterie-Division' of the 'Deutsche Wehrmacht' and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly used and/or worn-), condition. The partly black-enamelled pin - depicting a black-coloured 'elk-horn' on a silverish coloured background - is constructed from silvered metal: it is a tiny bit dirty but retains a nice age patina (all of its silverish finish is, however, present: it was just used and/or worn but was never polished). The non maker-marked pin, comes mounted onto its functional long-sized pin and shows as stated above some regular wear and/or minimal tarnish (but was most certainly never cleaned nor polished). These 'semi-official' pins were worn on both uniform, cap and/or civil attire. A nice and desirable 'Infanterie' item for a member within the: '291. Infanterie-Division': I deem that I have priced this nice little item accordingly!
