Neat, medium-sized, period-publication ie. album entitled: 'Deutschlands Wehrmacht', full of colour-plates on uniforms and/or insignia, holding 11 (of its original 12) colourfull post-cards - nice, albeit moderately used, condition!
This is a neat - and actually never before encountered! - medium- (ie. 21 x 21 cms.-) sized period-publication ie. album entitled: 'Deutschlands Wehrmacht' and/or sub-titled: 'Laufbahnen, Rangabzeichen, Dienstgrade, Waffenfarben u. Aufbau und Gliederung aller Wehrmachtteile' as compiled by an author named: 'Georg Westermann' residing in Braunschweig, in overall nice albeit moderately used, condition. The soft-covered booklet - which contains 20 pages - is truly full of interesting illustrations ie. colourfull post-cards (each sized: 15,5 x 11 cms.) on all various Wehrmacht (Heeres, Luftwaffe and/or Kriegsmarine-related-) uniforms and/or insignia. The booklet hold 11 such neat postcards (one of the cards - numbered 2 - is regrettably missing (I deem it was never there). The booklet was IMO issued by a local newspaper (named: 'Herner Zeitung') and I assume that the cards had to be collected over a longer-time: for example each week a new card. The booklet is in an overall very nice, albeit moderately used, condition and is apart from the missing card fully complete: it was IMO published just before WWII (so in or around 1938/39) with a specific means to convince and/or educate the German youth about all ins-and-outs as used within the newly founded army ie.: 'Deutsche Wehrmacht'. It shows some minimal age, wear and/or staining. The neat booklet once belonged to a youngster named: 'Horst Stoltmann' (as can be noticed from the sticker on the first page - see picture). Too bad that one card is missing but I deem it nevertheless a very nice and decorative period item! Simply a very nice and/or attractive period publication and most certainly a great and most certainly not often encountered reference-guide!
