Category:

  1. Shoulderboards & -straps (pairs)

The truly very attractive - and with certainty very rarely found! - pair of (typical) later-war-period, WH (Luftwaffe) NCO-type shoulderstraps have the bluish-grey-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks' and show the (typical) bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured branchcolour and were as such intended for usage by a senior NCO (ie. 'Stabsfeldwebel o. Spiess' or: company-sergeant) belonging to one of the 'Panzer' (ie. tank-) units) that resided under the later-war-period, so-called: 'Luftwaffe-Felddivisionen' (or: later-war period LW tank-related units ie. ground-troops). The straps - which are somewhat smalled-sized and that measure approximately 10 cms. in length each - show the silverish-grey-coloured (ie. typical 'dotted'-pattern and somewhat corroded) NCO-braid and six (I deem zinc-based- and/or smaller-sized and somewhat rust-stained) pips, period-attached denoting that the NCO who wore this pair held the (unusually seen!) rank of: 'Stabsfeldwebel o. Spiess' (as can be seen on the pictures). The attractive straps - which came in an obviously used- ie. carefully tunic-removed condition - shows clear wear, age and/or staining (as can be noticed on the pictures). The shoulderstrap-pair comes naturally mounted onto its functional tongues and is totally matching in all factes. It should be noted that these typical 'Luftwaffe-Felddivisionen'-related, LW-type shoulderstraps can be considered 'truly rare' (even more so when they are piped in the bright-pink- ie. Panzer-related branchcolour!) and saw also usage on for example on the specific 3/4-sized, FD-camouflaged smocks. Simply a truly very attractive - and rarely encountered! - pair of 'text-book', LW-'Felddivisionen'-ie. Panzer-NCO-type insignia: great to complete or restore a tunic or excellently fitted to be stored in any shoulderstrap-collection!
