This is a truly very attractive - and with certainty very desirable! - TR-item: a nowadays very rarely seen (and neatly smaller-sized!) WH (Kriegsmarine) WWII-type, so-called: 'Reichskriegsflagge o. U-Boot-Fahne' being a: 50 x 85 cms.-sized- and/or maker- (ie. '.....- Liebing - ...'?-) marked example that comes in a wonderful- (and I deem hardly- ie. only minimally used-), condition. The piece is neatly ink-stamped on its border with the text: 'Kr.Fl. 50 x 85' (as can be seen on the pictures). The flag retains vey bright and vivid colours and has both its cord-based loops firmly in place (something that is not always the case). These attractive 'Reichskriegsflaggen' showing an IC-symbol in the upper-corner rank amongst the most searched-after TR-flag-types and were 'standard-issue' on various KM-vessels (some say that these smaller-sized examples were merely intended for 'U-Boot' (ie. sub-marine) usage. These smaller-sized 'RK-Fahnen' (or: battle-flags) are the most desirable of the series and are actually very hard to find. This example shows very bright- and/or vidid colours and does hardly show any age nor wear: it is void of any damage or alike and is just minimally stained caused by decades of storage only (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive example of a naval 'Reichskriegsfahne' that will be very hard to be upgraded!
